This week we have decided to take a break from our usual information-packed blog posts that tell you about all of the hottest places to eat and drink in Essex, and instead give a little something back to you, our loyal readers.
Here at iHeartEssex if there is one thing we love more than food and drink it is a great competition. In our last blog we looked at some of the best eating challenges in Essex and promised you a chance to win a great prize. Well we know you have been waiting patiently, so here it is!
In conjunction with our Facebook page, which you can find by clicking HERE!, we are giving you the opportunity to WIN an iPad Mini, just in time for Christmas!
All you need to do be in with a chance of winning is to like our Facebook page, share our Competition Post HERE and type “Win” into the comments. It really is that simple!
However if you are feeling competitive there is a way of increasing your chances of winning. Just complete one of the challenges mentioned in our Best Eating Challenges in Essex blog post, send us the evidence* to competition@iheartessex.com and you will receive another 4 entries into the draw!
The competition will be running from Monday 14th September until midnight on Monday 14th December 2015. The winner will be drawn at random on Tuesday 15th December 2015 and the iPad mini will be sent out insured next day within 48 hours of the confirmation of the winners’ details.

Competition Terms & Conditions
1. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary in order to enter the competition
2. Entrants will be given one entry into the draw for liking the iHeartEssex Facebook page, sharing the competition post and commenting “win” on the post. All three of these stages must be complete in order to receive their entry into the draw.
3. Entrants may receive an additional four entries into the draw based on the completion of one of the challenges outlined in the “Best Eating Challenges in Essex” blog post. For more information click here. A maximum of one challenge will be considered for this competition, meaning the maximum number of possible draw entries for any one entrant is 5.
4. *Proof of completion of the challenge must be photographic evidence during and after the challenge, accompanied by a photographic copy of the receipt, which must be dated within the competition timeframe. Entries must be emailed to competition@iheartessex.com
5. The closing date for the competition will be at midnight on Monday 14th December 2015. Entries made after this time will not be eligible for the draw.
6. A winner will be drawn at random on Tuesday 15th December 2015. The winner will be notified by Facebook/email within 48 hours of the closing date whereby they will be required to provide their postal address for delivery of the prize.
7. The prize will be sent out by insured post within 48 hours of the winner confirming his/her address.
8. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to iHeartEssex within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and draw a replacement winner.
9. If the winner no longer “likes” our Facebook page at the time of the draw, their entry will be null and void and we will draw an alternative winner.
10. There will be no cash alternative to the prize.
11. This competition is open to UK residents only.
12. No employees of iHeartEssex, their family members nor any affiliates shall be permitted to enter the competition.
13. This competition is run solely by iHeartEssex and has no affiliation with Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Media network.
14. The Promoter’s (iHeartEssex) decision in respect of all aspects of the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. Entrants providing photographs and the competition winner agree to their name and image being used in relation to any publicity material for iHeartEssex. Any personal data relating to the winner or other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK Data Protection Laws and will not be disclosed to a third party without prior consent.
16. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
17. A minimum of 150 entries are needed before the draw can take place.
